Today i was at a friends house in Lakeway, very very close to Lake Travis /Lake Austin.. and was on my way home after hanging out there this weekend and wow.. i look at a friends facebook and relieze a fire over in their neighborhood close to Lake Austin (Steiner Ranch) had a fire! as i start freaking out wondering how everyone down in that "hood" by the boat ramp was ok its spread and around 7:30 pm tonight their whole neighborhood has been evacuated!
We all need to pray from rain in Central Texas right now the winds that kicked up today have not helped with our fire danger today..
We also need to be "safe" with fire.. anything to help not increase the chances of having fires start, puttting cigarette butts out (smokeless ash tray) (i have one in my car) , not grilling at outdoor parks ,etc.. anything you can do to not initiate any kind of fire please think before you do it.. its not rocket science and i personally am praying my friends homes are ok and they dont lose them..
so please pray for rain and those involved with the Central Texas fires and help!
